Service Description
The word "Jikiden" means "directly handed down" in Japanese. Jikiden Reiki is closely aligned with the Reiki Gokai (Precepts) for Health and Happiness authored by Mikao Usui. Reiki is an integrated hands-on and distant healing practice that attunes, and supports the natural latent human healing energy. Reiki balances body, mind, heart and spirit in a structured way through light, gentle, non-intrusive touch, compassionate intention and regard. Reiki treatments are noninvasive, non-manipulative, and non-intrusive. During a treatment everyone feels something different: warmth, heat, coolness, comfort, relaxation, and tingling are often reported. A Jikiden Reiki treatment is a very personal experience and there is no one particular feeling you should or shouldn’t experience.
