Sacred Soul-stice

How have y’all been doing with the New Moon Eclipse energy?

Feelings? Sensations?

I’ve been cycling through feeling energized and exhausted, focused and foggy, and downright twirly. Not sure what that means but it’s the word that came to my mind.

“Out of the sheer blackness of the Dark of the Moon, there appears a brilliant crescent light.” - Stephen Forrest

The Moon is Waxing Crescent (moving towards full) in Capricorn until about 8p tonight and then shifts into Aquarius. A Waxing Crescent Moon brings the energy of hope. Hope of your wishes and dreams. It’s the beginning of the light moving through you to realization. Aquarius questions, looks towards the future, and outside the box.

If you’ve been following my posts, you’ll see I’ve mentioned lots of 𝘢 𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘛 𝘛𝘖𝘕 𝘰𝘧 𝘌𝘗𝘐𝘊 + 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦 astrological magics happening in the

Cosmic World, which always translates to our collective and personal worlds.

Astrologers have long known this year would be a doozy with the pinnacle coming in just a few days. The Winter Solstice (if you’re in the North), Sun moving into Capricorn, and a Great Conjunction are all happening on or around December 20, 2020.

The Winter Solstice was revered as the Rebirth of the Sun. A time to celebrate and welcome the Sun back from its journey. It’s the day with the shortest hours of sunlight and longest hours of night. Acknowledging the great power of the dark but also accepting that, though hidden, the light is always there. It’s a reminder that no matter how isolated and alone we might be, we can still feel the warmth and strength of the Sun.

Take time to honor the inner rhythms of our bodies and nurture for the season ahead. The word “solstice” comes from the Latin, sol ("sun") and sistere ("to stand still"). It is within these moments of pause when the Divine’s intelligent wisdom is most potent. It’s a time to reset, to release. To be ready and willing to let that fucking shit go, even if it doesn’t happen right away because we all know how that goes.

This solstice is amplified by the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. These planets will be visible in the night sky, appearing as if one great star because they will be within 1º of each other. An event which only happens every 800+ years. Both planets will also be moving from Capricorn (Earth) into Aquarius (Air). The Jupiter-Saturn cycle has been mostly in Earth signs for 200+ years.

We are on the precipice of an emerging new world but that shit’s not gonna happen overnight! Saturn is work and structure while Jupiter is elevation and abundance. Ru Paul’s “You better work!” popped into my head. That’s definitely been the past year and the work isn’t done. But the work will have a whole fucking different flavor. Stay tuned!
